Martin I. Gorrochategui Vigoreaux, MD, attended The Ponce Health Sciences University, formerly Ponce School of Medicine & Health Sciences and previously Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and was awarded his medical degree in 2007. He served his internship at Hospital Damas in Ponce, Puerto Rico (2007-2008), worked as an Interventional Nephrologist Assistant at Centro de Accesos Vasculares de Puerto Rico (2008-2009), and conducted his radiology residency at Harlem Hospital Center, now NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, in New York, New York (2009-2013). In addition, Dr. Gorrochategui Vigoreaux is fellowship trained in vascular interventional radiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida (2013-2014). He further received board certification in diagnostic radiology and vascular interventional radiology from the American Board of Radiology and remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, including the American College of Radiology. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Gorrochategui Vigoreaux acquired his Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences degree in 2003 at the University of Florida.
